In this role, you will manage a team of three direct reports while ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with statutory and Group requirements. As a trusted business partner, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making while driving continuous improvement across finance operations.

What You Will Do:
As Finance Manager, you will oversee the finance function, ensuring the business delivers accurate financial reporting, maintains a robust control environment, and continuously improves its finance processes. You will also lead, coach and develop your team while partnering with colleagues across the Group to support business performance and growth.
Financial Reporting and Accounting
Lead the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of Hästens Limited together with the accounting team.
Oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare / Review monthly management accounts and related financial reporting.
Ensure the integrity, completeness and accuracy of all accounting records and financial information.
Prepare and coordinate the annual statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and reporting requirements.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach and develop the accounting team, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Allocate workloads, establish priorities and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
Support the professional development of team members through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Financial Control and Compliance
Maintain and strengthen the company's internal control environment.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and tax filing requirements.
Review VAT returns and income tax computations with the support of external tax advisors.
Lead the annual statutory audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
Liaise with external consultants, auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities where required.
Group Reporting
Oversee intercompany billing and reconciliation processes across Group entities.
Ensure timely reconciliation of intercompany balances and resolution of discrepancies.
Support Group reporting requirements and finance initiatives.
Business Partnering and Financial Analysis
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis for management.
Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning activities.
Monitor financial performance, investigate variances and recommend corrective actions where appropriate.
Process Improvement and Systems
Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, internal controls and reporting.
Participate in cross-functional business improvement initiatives across the Group, including ERP enhancements.
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes.
Stakeholder Management
Build strong working relationships across finance and non-finance functions.
Collaborate with colleagues across Europe, the USA and Asia.
Support management on strategic finance initiatives and other ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
At least 6 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Previous experience in a leadership role, including coaching and developing finance teams.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting and financial controls.
Experience working with audits; previous Big Four experience is considered an advantage.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and reporting tools is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Willingness to travel internationally when required.
