About the role:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and logistics processes at the Hästens Beds Orlando location. This role ensures efficient receiving, storage, handling, and distribution of goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and service. In addition to managing internal operations, the Warehouse Manager will act as a point of contact for customers and external partners regarding logistics-related matters.
Responsibilities:
Logistics and Transportation
Coordinate domestic inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and logistics partners
Monitor shipment schedules, delivery performance, and freight costs
Oversee the receipt and processing of cross-dock containers as well as stock
Resolve delivery issues, damages, delays, or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
Support continuous improvement of logistics flows and lead times
Inventory Management
Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and physical inventories
Work with relevant team members to perform PO receipts and ensure timely inventory transactions
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Ensure proper inventory controls and documentation are in place
Customer, Partner and Cross-Functional Communication
Communicate directly with customers regarding deliveries, shipment status, and logistics-related inquiries when needed
Act as a point of contact for external partners, carriers, and warehouses
Support internal customer service and sales teams with logistics-related information
Handle escalations professionally and ensure timely follow-up and resolution
Work closely with sales, customer service, production, and finance teams
Align logistics execution with customer expectations and business priorities
Act as a key operational stakeholder in continuous improvement initiatives
Leadership and Team Management
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff in accordance with Site Manager’s objectives
Plan staffing needs and schedules to meet operational demands
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Set an example by embodying the company’s values and behaviours
Systems and Process Improvement
Use warehouse and ERP systems to manage orders, inventory, and shipments
Identify process gaps and drive improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Support implementation of new systems, tools, or procedures
Ensure clear work instructions and standard operating procedures are documented and followed
Skills and requirements:
Preferred Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related field
2+ years of logistics management experience
Strong attention to detail
Ability to develop or improve processes where none exist
Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (SAP, NetSuite, etc.)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a highly organized fashion
Ability to coach and train team members effectively
