The Sales Manager will help us not only grow our business, but also help grow our brand so that we can bring the best sleep in the world to more and more people.

Position Overview: 

Seeking a Sales Manager to assume business responsibility for driving our business and cultivating the Hästens community in and around the cityThe role of Sales Manager is a newly created role within our Global Retail structure with the purpose of focusing on proactive outreach by leading/driving sales and a dynamic sales team. This position will become a critical thread in the fabric of how our Global Retail Business is evolving to build pipelines and strengthen our existing networks outside of the store. You will take on a Brand Ambassador role, one of player-coach, who is both self-motivated and motivates team-members. You will build a Hästens Community and be the glue that unites the team, so leading by example is key in order to deliver excellence in results collectively.

This role reports to the Global Retail Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The Sales Manager requires a high level of drive and goal orientation as well as emotional intelligence to engage and introduce community initiatives, professional societies/associations, industry events, and establish and expand the client base in the designated area. The ideal candidate should also possess strong analytical skills to develop strategy and business plans, analyze sales data, and identify performance gaps and action plans to address them. We are looking for a strong collaborator, someone who knows how to build teams for success find key stakeholders to achieve results and increase business opportunities. Must be an active recruiter and trainer of sales staff, and be able to monitor healthy competition among team-members to meet our goals and vision.

 Experience and Requirements:  


  • Strong CRM experience and proven record of growing sales through targeting strategies 
  • Business savvy, possessing a history of driving, expanding and building your business in an upward trajectory
  • Positive mind-set, High emotional intelligence in relationships and results
  • No limits type of person, operates with flexible and open mindset 
  • Cool factor, have done and excelled in high achieving and competitive activities outside of work: sports, creative arts, etc
  • No excuses type of person and mentality
  • Passionate about work and the Hastens brand and mission 
  • Proven experience on building and maintaining a strong network and community in the area
  •  High-energy (able to infuse sales team with high energy)
  • Excellence in consultative selling skills.
  •  Able to understand clients' needs, translate them into best purchases, and train the store teams to do so
  • Proven track record of relationship-based leadership. 
  • Committed to taking others to the highest level of performance through individual coaching plans and consistent outcomes assessment
  • Analytical, data-driven, and able to write, execute, and monitor business plans. Ability to work cross-functionally and motivate teams to achieve beyond their limit.
  • Executes from a service point-of-view; committed to doing good in the world
  •  Entrepreneurial spirit and mindset; able to shift gears and priorities with ease 
  • Experience of working with salesforce (Preferred) 
  • BA (or equivalent) in Business or Finance or MBA
  • Fluent in English, preferred but not essential proficiency in Swedish language and/or exposure to Swedish culture is a plus.
