Seeking a Chief of Staff to assume a “Wing-person” role to work alongside the Global Head of Wholesale at Hästens. This position will become a critical thread in the fabric of our Global Wholesale business, and ultimately the growth of our brand, so that we can bring the best sleep in the world to more and more people everywhere.

This exciting Chief of Staff role is a newly created one in the organization, due to continuous global expansion. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to help build This is not an administrative role. In fact, it requires strategic insight, thought partnership, operational savviness, and executional support for internal matters as well as with Hästens’ partners around the globe. This is a highly visible role, so high energy, a positive mindset, confident presence and communications are exceptional characteristics to possess in order to succeed in this position.

Position Overview:

We are on a mission to improve people’s quality of life and in doing so, we have created the position Chief of Staff for Hästens. In this role, you will be the right-hand to the Global Head of Wholesale. You will be responsible for forecasting, tracking, and analyzing sales activity, then compiling data for reporting that is easily communicated to the Global Head of Wholesale and business at-large. Must be comfortable creating and delivering thorough and complete business plans. You will interact with, and support, our Partners on a regular basis. Flexibility to work across time-zones and travel (when restrictions are lifted) for internal and external meetings and presentations. Should also be accustomed to being held to and creating performance-driven factors (OKR/KPIs).

Duties/Responsibilities: 

Your self-starting ability to work cross-functionally as well externally in order to identify opportunities that add value to the Global Head of Wholesale and the wholesale team in general are paramount. This role requires a critical driver in aligning the global wholesale priorities and helping streamline the overall global wholesale business plan strategy. We are looking for a Big-Picture Thinker who is able to prioritize, organize, and execute. Examples of key responsibilities across major functions for this role are:

 Planning and Support

  • Establish a planning process to identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic initiatives, to ensure they support Hästens’ vision & strategy 
  • Identify, develop, and implement continuous process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Global Head of Wholesale, Global Wholesale Team, wholesale partners, and the organization in general.
  • Prepare key presentation and structure agendas for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. executive leadership team, wholesale partners, etc.); facilitating and partaking in meetings with key decision-makers for all critical initiatives.
  •  Provide decision support through carefully research data and collaborating with leadership to distill and organize recommendations for Global Head of Wholesale and team to execute. Creating analysis and surface key take-aways to ensure content is presented in a digestible format.
  •  Meet regularly with global wholesale team to develop and track progress against goals, and identifying projects, goals, and opportunities/white space requiring resources and attention.
  • Act as a point-person for all wholesale partner queries and concerns and take action/problem-solve with minimal intervention from Global Head of Wholesale.

 Finance and Data Analytics:

  • Serve as the gatekeeper for the management financial model; establish and improve financial processes, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Establish efficient OKR reporting on the performance of key global wholesale initiatives and activities.
  • Work closely with Global Head of Wholesale to help workstream around data architecture build-out and optimization to ensure Hästens’ is set up for success 
  • Meet regularly with Global Wholesale Team to develop and track the progress of key initiatives and goals 

 Experience and Requirements:

  • B.S. in Business or Finance or MBA
  • 3+ years of Sales, Sales Operations, Business experience
  • Experience working with C-Suite and decision-makers
  • Strong PPT and Excel
  • Salesforce/CRM experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High Emotional Intelligence
  • Entrepreneurial-spirit and mind; able to shift gears and priorities with ease
  • Unlimited Mind-set with energy to do what it takes to help grow the business to the highest levels 
  • Relationship-builder and good liaison
