Hästens is looking for a Junior Area Sales Manager in Holland

We are on a mission to improve people’s quality of life and we are now looking for a Junior Area Sales Manager in Netherlands. As a Junior Area Sales Manager, you will take part of ensuring the profit and growth over a specific area or region. You will mainly focus on existing partners with training, coaching and handle events. You will be responsible for operational parts and ensure growth for the partners by creating more sales per store and focusing on commercial and marketing. 

As a Junior Area Sales Manager, you will also join the stores sometimes to boost sales and show them “how the work is done”. As a Junior Area Sales Manager, you will work towards gaining trust and build long lasting relationships over time. This to be able to grow within the business and the company. You will be a Hästens representant in all possible ways and meet our world-class standard. 

This position is based in Netherlands, will be part of a team of three and report to our Country Manager in.

 

Key areas of responsibility

  • Work with the existing business plan for the partner and support them in achieving growth and profitability on a local level.
  • Share best practice across different partner stores to ensure that all partners are operating in the most efficient way.
  • Establish and maintain good and strong relationships with partners and their stores. Relentlessly look for new ways to improve the partners sales and ensure long-term sustainability for all their stores.
  • Be the face of and be responsible of providing our partners with product-, service- and sales training.
  • Hands-on and demonstrate the beds and functions on the body and the impact of sleep.
  • Be responsible for training, competence and knowledge for our sales representatives in our partner stores. Educate them about sleep according to Hästens standards.
  • Follow guidelines, use tools and ensure a structured way of working when it comes to sales, visual merchandising, store concept. Respect and keep deadlines and follow up on results.

 

Desired Skills, Experience and personality traits

For this position we are looking for someone who’s hand’s-on and can be counted on to exceed goals successfully, fast and that push for results. Someone that can work aligned with Hästens ethics and values both in good times and bad. A person who always put the end customer in first hand and focuses on exceptional service, long lasting relationships and those in line with our standards. The person in this position will be successful if he/she is organized and has good presentations skills. Someone who’s inspiring and uses the time effectively.

  • 3+ years’ experience in sales within the retail industry, hospitality or equaling
  • Preferable experience within premium or home furnishings, with competencies in brand building
  • Computer literacy required (Word, Excel, Outlook, e.g.). Retail Solution experience helpful.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
  • Continues improver and easy adapter in changing environment.
  • High level of structure, adaptive and flexible to new “ways of working”.
  • Strong network with an outgoing personality with the ability to take own initiatives.
  • Position is based in the Netherlands but will require great amount of travel, both within Netherlands, Benelux and to Köping in Sweden.
