As Hästens Global Marketing Manager, your purpose is to support the sales teams and stores to help consumers make the most important investment in their lives: sleeping in the best bed.

You are responsible for ensuring the marketing team focuses on the most important day-to-day activities to make certain that all programs and activities are executed on time and on budget in accordance with the Spirit of Hästens. What is the Spirit of Hästens all about? It’s about always having the highest quality, attention to details, flawless execution, teamwork and collaboration. It’s also about achieving the results, and then pushing to the next level.

Translated to this role, you hold each member of the marketing team him/her for execution timelines, remove obstacles, and help out when (or preferably prevent) things from getting stuck. To create the best teamwork and ensure each individual is enabled, you schedule team meetings, individual check-ins to review plans and budgets; balance work-loads and identify options/alternatives in case of overload; create the master list of projects and detailed project plans; conduct regular check-ins with CEO and sales leadership as applicable to ensure good communication and alignment.

1. Why does this role exist?

- This role exists to ensure Hästens awesome marketing activities and initiatives get done, while promoting a fun, effective work environment to support 100% sales growth and 30% profits.

- The individual in this position will be responsible for day-to-day checking-in and support for each individual, as well as the overall big deliverables, while also promoting teamwork.

- The Core purpose is to ensure on time/budget execution of highest quality work and results, which will, in turn, support growth of sales and profit.

- To be successful, we also need to ensure the basics:

o Advance notice for review and approval of materials and programs

o Timeliness of review of materials (copy, art, photos, etc.)

o Escalation in case of potential to miss deadlines

2. What are the major responsibilities?

- Develop and track detailed project plans to ensure on time launches

- Create, refine and drive key processes so that the work gets reviewed, approved and done

- Make certain materials are available early to owner, sales teams, partners, stores, Hästens leadership and team for review and approval

- Coordinate Sales Boot Camps (SBC) and Partner meeting presentations

- Ensure flawless execution

- Address any issues immediately

- Obtain feedback from owner, sales, partners and stores

- Provide internal awareness of marketing activities

- Make improvements ongoing so the team and work continually improves

- Include the team in development of project plans and process improvement

- Materials review and approval – process and boundaries

- To improve:

o Develop/refine inclusive approval process

o Set spec parameters/guidelines for others to follow

o Clarify and implement domain and other best practices for partners

5. What are the most important skills, abilities, values, behaviors?

- Experience across multiple sectors and marketing roles

- Relevant mac computer software, including keynote, excel, etc.

- Project management tools and set-up

- 8 -10+ years marketing experience in roles with increasing responsibility

- Operational or program/project management role experience

- Salesforce experience preferred

- MS in Industrial Engineering & Management, Linköping University (preferred) or MBA
